Dual citizenship

According to the Kenya Constitution, 2010 and the Kenya Citizenship and Immigration Act of 2011, the Dual Citizenship is permissible in Kenya. Kenya citizens who have acquired other nationalities are required to disclose their other citizenship within 3 months of becoming a dual citizen. Application can be done on https://fns.immigration.go.ke/infopack/citizenship.
Regaining of Kenya citizenship
Regaining Kenya citizenship is done by a person who was a citizen of Kenya by birth and who ceased to be a citizen of Kenya because he or she acquired the citizenship of another country before 27th August, 2010. Kenyan citizens by birth who lost their Kenyan citizenship can apply to regain through https://fns.immigration.go.ke/infopack/citizenship/regaining.
N/B: Those who lost citizenship should not apply for a Kenyan ID or a passport until they regain their Kenyan citizenship.
