For efficient passport production, the government through the Directorate has ensured sufficient stocks of passport booklets and in addition to the existing printing machines, the Directorate acquired new modern high capacity printers with a printing capacity of 5000 booklets per day.
Moreover, for efficiency, the Directorate has recently recruited 300 Immigration officers who will be deployed across the all services; among them the two new centres, Kericho and Bungoma that were officially commissioned by H.E the President, with plans underway to open more centres.
