One Stop Border Post (OSBP)

The OSBP is a new concept of immigration control / border management in the EAC region. The main objective of the OSBPs is to:

  1. Enhance trade facilitation;
  2. Promote efficient movement of persons and goods;
  3. Reduce the cost of doing business in the region;
  4. Ease and speed-up movement of persons and services within the community and adjoining countries.

The established OSBP includes Taveta, Lungalunga, Namanga, Isebania, Busia, Malaba and Moyale.
